Below are a few basic guidelines for attending a class and post-class advice.
You will learn about your body in a new way. If you are new to the practice, the practice will feel unfamiliar at first. This is normal. As you practice more, the poses and postures will become like familiar friends. You will look forward to meeting them again and again because, like a good friend, the practice will bring you relief from your everyday stress, and increase your feelings of happiness and ease.

Some days you may be very energetic, some days not so much. Therefore, the #1 rule to follow for your practice is to listen to your body. If you need to take a rest in the class, just let the teacher know. It is always good to rest if you need to. If you do not know what type of pose to do while resting, please ask the teacher and they will be happy to instruct you.
Any comfortable clothes to work out in will be perfect.
After class, please drink plenty of water. Your practice will bring some of the toxicity in your system to the surface. Drinking water will help you flush those toxins out. Water is provided in the lounge area for you.
